Make sure no TeX is needed as user runs `make'.

Ship stuff like examples/complex-1.0.tar.gz, get it installed in
/usr/share/doc/autobook/examples/.

Create nice webpage, and refer to that, upload untarred html.

Build and install autobook.txt.

Check out http://www.openbsd.org/3.0_packages/i386/autobook-1.2.tgz-long.html .
Perhaps there are useful ideas in the OpenBSD package.

Does Makefile.{in,am}.gz get installed in /usr/share/doc/autobook/html/ ? That
shouldn't be there. (Does my tarball do this too? That'd be a bug.)

Make sure examples/ get installed, like Tomas's Debian package does.

There is still the 'fnord*: file not found' issue which pops up once in
a while :(

paper autobook:
Some
differences with what we've found in CVS: The publisher added:
 - A pretty nice old photo by Hulton Getty/Liaison Agency on the front cover:
     goats climbing ladders
 - "What we're hearing from reviewers about GNU Autoconf, Automake, and Libtool"
 - "About the Authors"
 - "About the technical reviewers" (7 people, I guess their names should be
listed in the autobook tarball as well.)
 - "Dedication"
 - "Acknowledgements"
 - "Tell us what you think"
Furthermore, the scheme's in e.g. Appendix C "Generated file
dependencies" where redone.

fix bugs in html typsetting: fastback button is flaky: e.g. in autobook_23.html
(5. A minimal GNU Autotools Project), it points forward (to same location
as fastforward.) reported by Tomas Guemes, Tue, Jul 30, 2002.

-*-Outline-*-

* Write the chapters that have been claimed
* Claim the chapters that remain (goto 1!)
* Write a perl program to convert either the texi, or generated tex
(perhaps based on texi2html?) to NewRiders markup format
* Make sure the peculiarities of VPATH and srcdir vs. builddir are explored
